Invitation Letter

When we talk about collaborative impact in our network's shared purpose, we envision a future where Junior Enterprises exchange knowledge and collaborate on projects at a global scale.

To make this future happen today, we invite you to be a traveler or a host in the Exchange Program. We invite you to be an agent of change, that bridges the connection of knowledge, people and JEs from different countries.

We challenge you to leave your mark towards a more connected Global Network.

We challenge you to strengthen our bonds.

Experience

An adventure unlike any other

In this edition of the Exchange Program, that will happen between December of 2019 and March of 2020, you will have two options to build a stronger Global Network:

You can travel to another country where you'll be hosted for up to 3 weeks by a local junior entrepreneur and their JE. You'll work part-time for your host JE, living their routine, learning about their network and contributing with your skills and knowledges.

Or...

You can host a junior enterpreneur from anywhere in the World that will bring a new culture, new ideas, experiences and knowledge from their own country, network and JE.

And in both cases, you'll also be challenged to go beyond.

You will share purpose, stories & moments. You will have an incredible intercultural experience. And you'll discover everything about another network, different from yours but for sure with several good practices to be shared.

"It's totally different from what you're used to in your JE. The personal learning I had on the program was quite absurd."

Destinations

To where can I go? From where can I host someone?

There will be hosts and travelers from up to 5 regions.

To apply as a traveler, you'll have to pick your 1st & 2nd options of regions. Your profile will then be shown to possible hosts in these locations!

USA, Canada and Mexico

North America

In total, there are 30+ JEs in this region, spread across some of the best universities of their countries.

Some are established JEs while others are new initiatives, but they're all looking to grow. Help them with this goal and you could become part of their history!

France, Germany, Portugal & others

Europe

The largest and oldest JEs in the world are here! And don't let their age fool you: european JEs are innovating at a fast pace.

French, German and Portuguese JEs are recurring participants of the Exchange Program, but you may also travel to or receive participants from Austria, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romenia, Spain, Switzerland, UK or others!

Australia, India, Pakistan and more!

Asia and Oceania

Australia, India and Pakistan are leading the enlargement of the JE concept in the Asia and Oceania regions.

Should you have the opportunity of visiting or hosting one of them, your effort may give a significant contribution to the enlargement of our Global Network.

Brazil, Argentina and more!

South America

In Brazil, you'll find the largest national network in the world, with 1000+ JEs working to be the best version of themselves.

In Argentina, you'll find a growing network with 4 JEs that actively participate in the Exchange Program!

And in others countries like Peru, Chile and Colombia, you'll find young teams working to get clients, recruiting members and collaborating to launch their confederations. Join them in this challenge and leave your mark in the rise of a National network!

Tunisia, Morocco and more!

North Africa

Tunisia (38+ JEs) and Morocco (9+ JEs) are relevant participants in the Exchange Program, having already had many hosts and travelers!

Their JEs, which work in a wide variety of fields, are growing, work together frequently and are also often very close to one another geographically.

You may also have the opportunity to visit Cameroon, Gabon and other countries that have newborn networks.

Have energy, because there will be many opportunities to learn and leave an impact!

We will try to match travelers and hosts in a way that we achieve the biggest impact. Travelers may indicate preference for a specific language or country, but we cannot guarantee fulfillment of these preferences.

Once we have a match possibility, the host meets the possible travelers via videoconference and, if everything goes well with the dates selected and both have similar goals with the program, we proceed with the match. Then, to confirm the exchange, both sides will sign a Commitment Term and the traveler will have to pay a €100 participation fee. After this, the JEGlobal Team will provide all the aid that both sides need: travel tips, planning of the Exchange schedule, legal processes to travel and so on.

This fee helps support the Enlargement, Connection and Support to Confederations work of Junior Enterprises Global around the world and is what we charge for our work organizing the program.

Tip from our team:

If you want to save money, consider picking the region of your own country as one of your preferences! We will then show your profile to hosts in other countries near yours!

On the other hand, for a more challenging experience, pick the regions that are most different from your own!

Testimonials

Having the privilege of working with LisbonPH members has been the highlight of my time in Portugal. I can't say nothing except thank them for the good times and sweet memories that we shared together. Not only have I enjoyed working with them, but I have also gained a lot of experience and now I know how a well-functioning JE should be run. My journey with LisbonPH has prepared me for the next steps.

Rania, Traveler to Portugal

The exchange about the similarities and differences of the two student consultancies, Janus and TECMEC, was of great benefit. The characteristics of a German JE could be shown and improved with the help of Brazilian methods. But also Karol got great ideas for the work of her JE!

Adrian, Host from Germany

During our stay, we got to discover the way they work in the JE and more importantly got to discuss the differences between our practices and how our young JE could learn from its Brazilian peers in order to be more efficient and increase its productivity. Our short but intense week in São Paulo made us rething the way we do things back in Morocco and pushed us to start a restructuration of our activities.

Hicham, Traveler to Brazil

The experience offers the possibility of growth in the JE, you learn new ways of management and values from other countries. It is always a joy to receive an exchanger because they bring with them a lot of energy and motivation that transmits the feeling of being part of a larger and stronger movement, this motivates you to do more

Rocio, Host from Argentina
